The Slow Food Upper Columbia Farmers Market Community Education Project for 2010 was a great success. A core team of four members worked hard to develop and coordinate this project. Every month during the market season Slow Food Upper Columbia hosted an information booth on the third week of the month.
Saturday’s at the Northeast Washington Farmers Market and on Wednesday’s at the Colville Farmers Market. Featured tastings and recipes using seasonal produce were given out, along with materials on purchasing local products.
